LOW-SULPHUR

FUEL AGENT IMPROVING FUEL LUBRICATING FEATURES.

Description

Low-Sulphur is a unique mixture of dispersants, detergents, surface-active substances and lubricating additives, that is used to minimize the effect of fuel instability and reduces the risk of wearing out of metal.

Low content of sodium in the fuel enables the increased wearing (contact friction of metal on metal) of fuel structures, pumps and other fuel system equipment. LOW-SULPHUR contains highly effective fuel lubricants that reduce wear-out which in its turn prolong the life cycle of equipment.

Application and Usage

LOW-SULPHUR can be added into fuel storage tanks via air-vents prior to bunkering. Such way provides the best mixing of the agent with the fuel.

Dose rate

LOW SULPHUR depends on the fuel grade. When distilled fuel/diesel fuel (MGO and MDO) are used LOW-SULPHUR is added in amount of 1 liter per 5 tons of fuel with low content of sodium. When heavy fuel oil (IF0120 and more) are used LOW SULPHUR is added in amount of 1 liter per 3 tons of fuel with low content of sodium.
