Ship main engines and geared-diesel units PM series
The Geared-Diesel Units (GDU) of "PM" series are designed to be used as the driving engine both for basic propulsion system and auxiliary manoeuvring devices on vessels of all types with limited and unlimited navigation areas. Diesel engines are equally applied at sea and river based vessels. Modern four stroke engines of DEUTZ, SCANIA, MTU, J.DEERE, LOMBARDINI with the number of cylinders from the 2nd to 20, line and V-shaped arrangements, have various cooling systems: from simple air to highly effective liquid type. All geared-diesel units are equipped with monitoring systems, warning protection system and remote automated control units which are de-veloped by plant design departments according to requirements of the customer and Russian Mari-time Register of Shipping (Russian River Register). Diesel engines with capacity over 130 kW have international certificate (EIAPP) for compliance with NOx standards. RMRS, RRR, Lloyd, DNV and other certificates on request of the customer.
